Ang Baguio-Benguet at Aklan (Kalibo-Boracay and everything in between) ang top 2 destinations ko. Di kumpleto ang taon ko kung di ako nakakapunta sa parehong lugar na 'to. Susunod ang Dumaguete-Negros Oriental at Bolinao, pero di sila bahagi ng tradisyon ko.
Parehong whirlwind vacations ang dalawang 'to. Bago mag-Pasko nitong Disyembre, umakyat kaming mga LIRA poets sa Baguio. Cafe by the Ruins, Bencab Museum ("nasa langit na ba ako?") sa karatig na bayan ng Tuba, Session Road inuman, palengke shopping, dinner sa Pangasinan pagbaba.
Ngayong Enero naman, lumipad kami ni Ynna at Jere sa hometown kong Kalibo para sa 798th edition ng Ati-Atihan. Drunken street dancing amid pounding drums. Di na nakasama ang mga friends mula sa
2009 Ati-Atihan. Wala na rin kaming oras para mag-Boracay dahil sa trabaho. Next year na lang, in time for the 3rd Kimpo International Reunion.
