Dad Awarded as Outstanding Prosecutor

Nitong Huwebes, 20 Agosto 2009 ay pinarangalan si Dad ng Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) bilang isa sa mga "Outstanding Prosecutor" para sa taong 2009.

Sina VACC Founding Chairman/President Dante Jimenez at Chairman Lauro Vizconde, kasama ang kasalukuyang Dept. of Justice Secretary Agnes Devanadera ang naggawad ng parangal kay Dad.

Bukod sa parangal, natuwa ako sa mga pagbati ng mga tao sa aming mag-ama. Ang parangal daw ay para na ring "vindication" sa mga pinagdaanan namin noong kasagsagan ng "Alabang Boys" controversy.

Binati rin ako ng ilan sa mga nakasalamuha naming taga-VACC at kapwa piskal ni Dad sa DOJ para sa aking pagkakasulat ng liham sa The Philippine Star noong Enero.

Ang parangal. Mali ang spelling ng pangalan ni Dad hehe. (Double L at hindi P dapat.)

Si Dad kasama ang limang kapwa awardee, ang mga matitinik na babaeng prosecutor ng DOJ na humawak sa kaso ng "Boratong shabu tiangge."
