Dumaguete Workshop Fellows sa Philippine Star

Tatlong oras mula ngayon, lilipad na ako papuntang Negros. Simula na ng tatlong linggo kong pagsabak sa mga workshop. (At kung bibilangin ang pagiging staffer sa UP NWW -- one week down, three to go!)

The IYAS Creative Writing Workshop proudly announces its roster of Fellows for 2009.

The Fellows for Fiction are: Jesus Miguel Agreda, Gil Montinola (Hiligaynon), Russel Stanley Geronimo, Ramon Antonio Pandan (English), Irish Angelica Ibon (Filipino), and Errol Merquita (Cebuano).

The Fellows for Poetry in English are: Patricia Magno, Vanessa Mae Almeria, Jan Paulo Bastareche and Deborah Rosalind Nieto.

The Fellows for Poetry in Filipino are: Philip Kimpo, Joselito Delos Reyes and Vijae Alquisola.

The Fellows for Poetry in Cebuano are: Neil Genica and Cindy Velasquez.

The panelists for this year are Dr. Marjorie Evasco, Dr. Elsie Coscolluela, Dr. Genevieve Asenjo, Dr. Leoncio Deriada, Dr. Anthony Tan and Prof. John Iremil Teodoro.

The IYAS Creative Writing Workshop is sponsored by the University of St. La Salle and the Bienvenido N. Santos Creative Writing Center of De La Salle University and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

Mapapansing magkaibang tao ako sa dalawang listahan kung pagbabasehan ang pangalan. Hehe.
